POTENTIAL witnesses to an assault on a man in Chicago Rock Cafe, Redditch, are being asked to get in touch with police.
At around 11pm on Saturday, June 27, the man, who is in his 30s, was at Chicago Rock Café on Unicorn Hill when he was hit on the side of his face by either a glass or a bottle, cutting his cheek.
Pc Tony Smith from Redditch police said: “Our enquiries into this incident are continuing and as part of this, we are appealing to anyone who was at Chicago Rock on Saturday, June 27 to give us a call if they witnessed the incident or saw a glass or bottle being thrown.
“The victim needed hospital treatment for his injuries and it’s important that we identify whoever is responsible.”
