Tributes have poured in for a "flourishing" student who has died just weeks before starting university.
Bromsgrove School made the announcement that student Sadeeq Tuggar had died on Tuesday (August 4).
The school described Sadeeq, who was born in 2008, as a student who "flourished both academically and through his passions for sport and art".
He was due to start university in September.
Paying tribute, Bromsgrove School said: "We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Sadeeq Tuggar, who died on Tuesday (August 4).
"During his time at Bromsgrove, Sadeeq flourished both academically and through his passions for sport and art.
"He was excited to begin the next chapter of his journey at university this September."
Following the news of his death, there has been an outpouring of sadness from the school community with many remembering Sadeeq as a "lovely young man" who would always be remembered.
One parent said: "So very thankful for the positive impact he had on his friends at school.
"Sadeeq really was a lovely young man and our family will remember him fondly always."
Another person said: "It's heartbreaking to hear of a young man leaving this earth far too soon. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends."
Another person added: "What really sad news. He was so lovely. Thoughts are with his family - an unimaginable loss."
