A popular record trader is taking a final bow after 13 years in Redditch.

After reluctantly closing her shop just off Church Green East in February 2024, owner of Vintage Trax, Ros Sidaway, has been clearing stock at music festivals, local community events and record fairs.

Vintage Trax is now preparing for its final pop-up in Redditch from 2pm to 9pm on Saturday (August 1) at Sounds in the Grounds run by The Boathouse at Arrow Valley Lake.

Ms Sidaway said: "Rather than being a sad day, I want Vintage Trax to go out with a bang.

"I’ve always had great support from people in and around the town, and want to thank them in person and give them one last chance to grab a bargain to add to their treasured record collections.

"So, it’s fitting that I’ll be able to do that at Sounds in the Grounds - a fabulous free music festival in a lovely location beside the lake."

At the final pop-up event, crate loads of quality preloved vinyl LPs will be sold at half price with further stock available at just £3 or £7 per album.

The sale also includes CDs, artist T-shirts and music-related merchandise.

More information about the festival, including the music line-up, food and drink, and stallholders, is available by visiting arrowvalley.co.uk/sounds-in-the-grounds-2/ or on the Arrow Valley Visitor Centre and Lake Facebook pages.
