A MOTORBIKE rider has been left with "life-changing injuires" after hit-and-run in Lickey.
Police are appealing for the public's help to trace the driver of a white Ford Fiesta which was involved in a crash with a Triumph motorbike and left the scene.
The incident happened around 4.20pm last night (Friday July 17) at the junction of Old Birmingham Road and Rose Hill.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta failed to stop at the scene. The vehicle was later recovered after being abandoned on Monument Lane.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious collision in Lickey that has left a motorcyclist with life-changing injuries."
They added: "We would like to establish who was driving the Ford Fiesta at the time of the collision and appealing to anyone who saw the vehicle before the collision, witnessed the collision itself, or saw the Fiesta after the collision to please come forward.
"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage, CCTV or doorbell camera footage from the areas of Twatling Road, Old Birmingham Road, Rose Hill or Monument Lane around the time of the collision."
