A NURSERY group with a site in Redditch has appointed a new head of safeguarding.
Ryan Greenhalgh will take up the role at Partou, which runs Alexandra Day Nursery and Pre-school in the town, bringing more than 15 years of experience in safeguarding, children’s services and education.
Mr Greenhalgh said: "It’s exciting to be joining Partou where safeguarding is a core priority across all settings, supporting high-quality early years environments for children.
"I am passionate about creating safe, positive cultures in organisations where care comes first, and I look forward to playing a part in delivering fantastic experiences for all our children and families."
He joins Partou from Manchester City Football Club, where he led safeguarding strategy and governance across its UK and international operations.
Mr Greenhalgh has also held senior roles at organisations including Barnardo’s and Coram Voice.
Kirsty Jackson, Partou’s co-managing director, said: "As head of safeguarding, Ryan will lead Partou’s approach to child protection, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing strategic leadership and strengthening safeguarding practice across the organisation.
"We are delighted to have him onboard."
