ARROW Valley Visitor Centre and Lake has issued a warning to dog owners after an incident involving a powerline.

According to the visitor centre, the warning has been issued as there is a fishing line in the water which is 'caught' on a powerline.

The visitor centre has also said that all water activities and fishing have been put on hold 'until further notice' due to the incident.

An Arrow Valley Visitor Centre and Lake spokesperson said: "All visitors to the lake, please be advised of the below and please keep yourselves and your dogs out of the water.

"All of our water activities and fishing have been put on hold until further notice.

"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated."
