A dance-circus company will bring a gravity-defying street spectacle to public spaces.

Motionhouse will perform its international award-winning outdoor show WILD in Redditch town centre on Saturday, June 20, with two free performances at 11am and 2pm in Market Place.

The event is part of the Makers in Motion project from Reimagine Redditch.

Louise Richards, executive director of Motionhouse, said: "We can’t wait to perform our work in Redditch.

"We believe that dance is for everyone, so it’s going to be fantastic to share our work in the heart of communities across the area."

Richard Bromhall, programme director for Reimagine Redditch, said: "We’re thrilled that people across the borough can experience the Motionhouse performances for themselves.

"This will be a stunning cultural event for everybody in Redditch to enjoy – every single person, no matter their background or experience of creative or cultural events, is most welcome."

As part of the broader programme, Motionhouse will also deliver an 18-month co-creation project with the community, culminating in a final performance in summer 2028.
