A WOMAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after emergency services were called to a concern for welfare in Redditch
Emergency services were called to the A448 Bromsgrove Highway in Redditch at around 7.57pm yesterday (Sunday March 1).
A woman was treated at the scene for serious injuries before being taken to the QE Hospital.
The road was closed with traffic diverted at the Tardebigge/ Foxlydiate junction.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to a concern for welfare near to Bromsgrove Highway in Redditch at 7.57pm, yesterday, and sent three ambulances, a paramedic officer and a MERIT trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic to the scene.
"On arrival, crews found a woman, who they treated for serious injuries before conveying her to Queen Elizabeth Hospital under emergency driving conditions."
West Mercia Police have been contacted for comment.
