A Warwickshire motorbike festival has won two consecutive Consumer Event of the Year awards.

The ABR Festival won the PPA Independent Publisher Awards' Consumer Event of the Year category for the second year running, a first in the history of the awards.

Held at Ragley Hall, the festival was recognised for its year-on-year growth, and its ability to engage and foster a community.

Ahead of the 2026 event, ticket sales have increased by 17 per cent compared to the same time last year.

The festival draws thousands of motorbike enthusiasts who gather to enjoy various activities, including curated ride-outs through the Warwickshire countryside, trail-riding challenges, and inspiration from adventure riding legends and industry experts.

The festival also offers masterclasses in skills development and bike maintenance, live music entertainment, and a strong industry exhibition showcasing the latest in bikes and gear.

ABR Festival owner Alun Davies expressed delight at receiving the prestigious award, comparing it to winning an Oscar in the world of independent publishing.

He acknowledged the support and enthusiasm of the "ABR family", which includes festival-goers, the motorcycling industry, and ABR staff.

Without their involvement, he said, "without their attendance, energy and enthusiasm the ABR Festival would be nothing more than me sitting in an empty field."

The PPA Independent Publisher Awards honour excellence in independent publishing, and the Consumer Event of the Year award lauds events that deliver creative content and lasting audience impact.

Going forward, the festival is planning its largest event for 2026, with expanded programs and enhanced facilities.

The 2026 ABR Festival is slated for June 26–28 at the historic Ragley Hall in Warwickshire.

Tickets are already available on the festival's website, abrfestival.com.

The PPA Independent Publisher Awards are widely regarded as the publishing industry's highest honour.
