A man has appeared in court charged with offences relating to several incidents in Redditch.
Kirk Lloyd, aged 30, of Fownhope Close in Redditch, appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Friday (November 7) charged with five counts of theft from a shop, actual bodily harm (ABH), intentional strangulation, coercive and controlling behaviour and two counts of burglary.
The charges come after police and ambulance crews were spotted on Winforton Close at around 4pm on Wednesday (November 5) and a 30-year-old man was arrested.
Lloyd did not enter a plea for the charge of ABH, coercive and controlling behaviour, intentional strangulation, two counts of burglary and one count of theft from a shop.
He is next due to appear at Worcester Crown Court for those charges on Monday (December 8) for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
He has been remanded in custody until his next court date.
Lloyd indicated a guilty plea for four of the counts of theft from a shop.
He was ordered to pay costs of £85.
