A PASSIONATE children’s author and martial arts instructor from Worcestershire is set to captivate young readers with her debut picture book, Little Mouse is Absolutely, Completely, Totally Fine!
Sharon Hopwood will launch the book with a special event at Redditch Waterstones on Saturday, August 17 from 2 to 3pm.
The event will feature story-time, fun activities, book signing, and a Little Mouse treasure hunt.
Little Mouse is Absolutely, Completely, Totally Fine! encourages children to become body language detectives, helping them develop empathy and express their emotions.
The book features a cast of mice with big emotions, exploring feelings such as happiness, sadness, confusion, fear, anger, and calmness.
“I'm passionate about empowering children. My aim is to ignite confidence, inner-strength and self-belief,” said Sharon Hopwood.
“Through Little Mouse is Absolutely, Completely, Totally Fine! I hope to provide a fun and engaging way for children to explore their feelings, recognise body language and build empathy.”
Sharon’s background as a 4th Dan martial artist and co-creator of the ‘Stay Safe’ anti-bullying programme for schools has equipped her with the skills to empower children with confidence, inner strength, and self-belief. She offers engaging school visits, both in-person and virtual, tailored to Nursery, Reception, and KS1 children.
