DINOSAURS took over Arrow Valley Country Park in Redditch for an event the council has described as a "roaring success."
Earlier this month, on August 8, the country park welcomed over 700 people as animatronic dinosaurs transformed the park into Jurassic Valley thanks to the Travelling Natural History Museum.
Portfolio holder for leisure, councillor Juliet Barker Smith, said: “I had the pleasure of joining lots of dinosaur enthusiasts in the park that day and there was a real buzz of excitement which was great to see.”
The event saw the opportunity for residents to get involved with fossil digging, regular arena shows with Reggie Rex, and meet and greets with mini baby Dino puppets.
Leader of the council, councillor Joe Baker, added: “I am delighted to hear of the successes of the Jurassic Valley event in the park, bringing together the residents of Redditch to enjoy all that the borough has to offer is incredibly important to fostering pride in our area.”
