Police have issued a warning to residents after a suspicious person was spotted trying car door handles in Redditch.
West Mercia Police said they had received a number of reports of someone acting suspiciously around Robins Lane, Pink Green Lane and Wheelers Lane in Brockhill.
The person has been seen trying car door handles and was said to be wearing a dark coat with a North Face logo on the back.
Officers are advising residents to stay vigilant, remove valuables from vehicles and consider a steering lock.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We have received several reports of someone acting suspiciously around Robins Lane, Pink Green Lane and Wheelers Lane, Brockhill. This person has been seen trying car doors.
"Please ensure you remove valuables from your vehicles and consider a steering lock.
"Can we please encourage you to report any further incidents online via the West Mercia Police website or 101 for non-emergency and 999 in an emergency."
