A body has been recovered from the River Severn near Ombersley in the search for a missing man.
The body was discovered at around 2.30pm near to Holt Fleet Bridge in Holt Heath on Sunday (February 4) in the search for missing Telford man Harry Hull-Merrick.
Formal identification is yet to take place but is believed to be that of 36-year-old missing man Harry Hull-Merrick, who was last seen on Friday, December 8 in Ironbridge.
Mr Hull-Merrick's family have been informed and have asked that their privacy is respected at this difficult time.
The death is not being treated as suspicious, and police would like to thank everyone who shared their appeals.
