A nursery in Redditch that "goes above and beyond" for its children is in the running for a prestigious education award.
Brockhill Barn Day Nursery has been nominated in the 'Early Years Education' category at the Worcestershire Education Awards 2024 for the dedication and care of its staff.
The nursery has been nominated by The Spire CofE Learning Trust's special needs coordinator Daniel McEvilly who praised the organisation's family feel.
He said: "Brockhill Barn Day Nursery is an amazing setting where the staff put the children at the heart of everything they do.
"The team has a real family-friendly feel and will go above and beyond to help.
"Simply put, this nursery is amazing. Parents couldn't wish to send their children to a better, more caring place."
Reacting to the nomination, one of the nursery managers, Bev Darling, said: “We are truly honoured and humbled to receive this award nomination.
"As a setting, we strive to give the children within our care, the best possible educational experience within a loving and welcoming environment.
"We thank Daniel for his nomination and we look forward to the winners being announced in due course.”
