NEW jobs have been created at a catering supplies company which has just secured a bigger premises due to increased demand.

Redditch firm Fusion Hygiene, part of the NGW Group catering supplies group, has seen its workforce almost double in the past year after new contracts with both the Costa Coffee chain and Raymond Blanc’s Brasserie Blanc restaurants.

To handle the increase in demand, NGW has now taken additional space with the 6,696 sq ft Unit 6 on Colemeadow Road, on the North Moons Moat industrial estate, in a deal secured by Ben Truslove, joint managing director at commercial property agents John Truslove.

It is the fourth property deal for catering hygiene experts in the last three years, fuelled by continuing growth.

Richard Ng-Zeederberg, director at NGW, said: “Our eco-friendly approach is very attractive to our customers, supplying restaurants with chemical dispensers that are a sustainable, ecologically friendly alternative to pre-mixed chemicals.

“This offers considerable savings and reduces the amount of plastic waste, but crucially we provide a one-stop shop for all their hygiene, chemical and packaging needs.

“We have shown we can provide both quantity and quality, securing work with a large national chain in Costa Coffee while also meeting the needs of Brasserie Blanc.

“In what is quite a saturated market, we have made ourselves a supplier of choice, and as a result our workforce has grown to 22 from around a dozen a year ago.

Ben Truslove added: “We have built a strong relationship Richard and the NGW team over the last few years, making sure this fast-growing business has access to the property it needs.

“Working with our extensive network of property owners means we can ensure that both expanding companies and our landlord tenants all benefit.

“We look forward to working with NGW in the future as its operations, such as Fusion Hygiene, continue to win business nationwide.”
