Youths were spotted acting suspiciously along a street in Rubery on Wednesday (November 22).
The two suspects were seen during the early hours on Hillview Road trying car door handles.
West Mercia Police responded to the incident but the youths made off before they could be caught.
A spokesperson for the police said: "It is important that if you see or have any information on a suspected crime report it or let us know by phoning 101 or filling out the ''Tell Us About' form on our website at www.westmercia.police.uk.
"You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or www.crimestoppers-uk.org. If you feel at risk, or a crime is in progress always dial 999.
"If you have any information on the incident in Hillview Road please contact us quoting incident number 00021/1/22112023."
