Manager at Redditch BID, Muj Rahman, said: “It was a great opportunity for Redditch to welcome Titan to our town. One of the other BID members had seen that the robot visited another shopping centre in Sutton Coldfield, so we approached the makers, Cyberstein, and luckily he was available.

“It’s great to attract people into the centre and the success of last weekend just goes to show that Redditch can rival bigger areas like Birmingham. It is a real testament to our hard work and a step in the right direction.

“We’ve been putting on some great events, including welcoming the Bat Mobile, but we have a lot more events planned in the future.”

The show, which was found in Walford Walk, was also a great opportunity for the community to get up close to cutting-edge technology with Titan singing and dancing throughout the occasion.

Redditch BID was delighted with the turnout and had a lot of positive feedback from those who attended.

One resident said: “Our kids couldn’t stop talking about Titan. Thank you for bringing so much joy to our families.”

Another added: “Grateful for the Redditch community coming together. Titan’s visit was a hit with both kids and parents.”

The next big event for Redditch BID will be the Christmas light switch-on this Saturday (November 25) which will be hosted by singing sensation Peter Andre.
