NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three Redditch eateries, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
Poppins Restaurant at Kingfisher Walk, McDonalds at Clews Road, and Joe's Jungle at 4 Lakeside Industrial Estate, New Meadow Road have all received five-star ratings following inspections last month.
It means that of Redditch's 77 similar establishments with ratings, 55 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
A rating of five means hygiene standards are very good, four means hygiene standards are good, three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory, two means some improvement is necessary, a rating of one means major improvement is necessary and a rating of zero means urgent improvement is required.
