A MIDDLE aged woman was cared for by an off-duty nurse after a crash between a bus and a car in Redditch.
The incident happened at the junction of Grangers Lane and Rough Hill Drive on Wednesday morning (August 9).
The driver of the car was checked over for minor injuries when the ambulance crew arrived after she was cared for by an off-duty nurse who assisted at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a collision between a bus and a car at the junction of Grangers Lane and Rough Hill Drive in Redditch at around 11.45am on Wednesday.
"On arrival, the crew found the driver of the car, a middle-aged woman, out of the car and being cared for by an off-duty nurse who had stopped to assist.
"The woman was assessed at the scene for minor injuries before being discharged with advice.
"There were no other patients".
