AN Alcester care home will be opening its doors to the community for a Pride event.

Cherry Trees Care Home is hosting ‘Cherry Trees Pride’ on Saturday, August 19, linking with Warwickshire Pride.

Taking place between 11am and 4pm guests will be able to enjoy a barbeque and join in with other events including a charity bike ride and a performance from singer, Betsy Harmony.

They will also have the chance to meet the team and take a tour of the home.

Debbie Osborne, general manager at Cherry Trees said: “I’m excited about welcoming new visitors and existing friends of the home to our open day.

"Looking for care can be a little bit daunting, but our team here at Cherry Trees will do all we can to provide all of our guests with the guidance and support they may need, and answer all of their questions, big or small."
