RESIDENTS from a Redditch care home are inviting the community to their first-ever Summer Fete.
Taking place in Millcroft care home’s gardens on Saturday, August 5 from 12pm to 3pm, guests will be able to play funfair-themed games, browse stalls, and enjoy pony rides and a bouncy castle.
The Millcroft kitchen team will be firing up the BBQ with classic burgers and hotdogs.
Resident, Mary Foster, aged 94, said: “I’m really looking forward to the whole afternoon – especially seeing the pony.”
Lyndsay Sard, home manager at Millcroft, said: “We’re all very excited to welcome everyone to our beautiful home for our Summer Fete.
“Since opening our doors in December 2022, it’s been heartwarming to see the support we have received from our local community, so this is our way of saying thank you.
“Everyone is always welcome at Millcroft – even if you just fancy a cuppa and a chat.”
