VISITORS braved the showery weather to attend Redditch’s well-anticipated class motor show.
On Saturday, July 15 car enthusiasts and collectors defied the weather to view a selection of classic and vintage automobiles.
Organised by Redditch BID in association with Shakespeare Rally Promotions, the annual Redditch Classic Motor Show featured various attractions and activities, including live music performances, delicious food vendors, and family-friendly entertainment.
Visitors also had the opportunity to engage with automobile experts, who shared their knowledge and provided insights into the historical and technical aspects of the showcased vehicles.
The addition of Batman and the iconic Batmobile inside the Kingfisher Centre proved to be a massive hit as huge crowds poured into the centre to witness the superhero.
Muj Rahman, Redditch BID manager said: "It's incredible to witness the resilience and passion of classic car enthusiasts.
“Despite the rain, we couldn't be more thrilled with the turnout and the positive feedback we received from both exhibitors and visitors alike.
“Their appreciation for classic automobiles is truly inspiring.
“The success of the Redditch Classic Motor Show would not have been possible without the support of our exhibitors, dedicated volunteers, and the Redditch community.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who attended and contributed to the show's success, demonstrating their unwavering love for classic vehicles.
“We look forward to welcoming them back next year, with the hopes of better weather and an even more remarkable display of automotive history."
Adrian Field, general manager at the Kingfisher Centre said: “Footfall in the centre on Saturday was 21.8 per cent up on the same Saturday last year and ahead of the Saturday pre-covid in 2019 by 2.1 per cent.
“The car parks were also very busy. This is great news for our tenants and the positive work that Redditch BID does to help them boost trade.”
