UPDATE - The road has now reopened.
A MAIN road in Redditch is closed in both directions due to a ‘police incident’.
A road closure has been put in place on Coventry Highway.
According to West Mercia Operations and Communications Centre, the incident is near to the turn-off for Church Hill and Winyates East.

UPDATED STORY: Woman and three children taken to hospital after Redditch crash
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Police were called at 8.20am this morning to a collision on Coventry Highway.
"The road is currently closed. At this stage it does not appear anyone has been seriously injured."
