TWO Redditch restaurants have been handed new food hygiene ratings.
The Pepinos, a restaurant at 25 Unicorn Hill, Redditch was given a three out of five score after an assessment on September 1, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
All three areas which were inspected by food safety officers; hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building and management of food safety are rated ‘generally satisfactory’.
Meanwhile, Dixy Chicken, a restaurant at 76 Ipsley Street, Redditch was given a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating after an inspection on August 11.
Officers found the business’ hygienic food handling and cleanliness and condition of facilities and building to be ‘good’ whilst their management of food safety to be ‘generally satisfactory.
It means that of Redditch's 67 restaurants, cafes, and canteens with ratings, 46 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
