THE Severn Valley Railway plans to put its name up in lights this Christmas as a popular night time adventure is set to return.
Severn Valley will be staging their Steam in Lights experience which promises to be bigger and better than before.
The sound and light extravaganza will run from November 18 right through until December 23rd when organisers promise more stunning light displays and improved on-board music and narration.
On approaching the entrance at Bridgnorth station, the illuminated train will herald a journey around the world, passing a variety of magical dioramas that can only been seen from the train.
Each private compartment will have its own individual sound system – while the festival musical party theme continues on the return trip with each party issued with glow sticks.
Severn Valley’s events manager Lewis Maddox said: “There’s a whole new theme to the experience – but we’re keeping the details under wraps because we don’t want to spoil the surprise.
“What we can guarantee is a journey across the globe which visitors will only be able to see from the train … and it won’t just be on land either."
Tickets can be purchased as private compartments or reserved tables even though the magical mood is destined to flow through the train.
