BIG hearted business Baylis and Harding have made a major commitment to the Midland Air Ambulance Charity by pledging a substantial amount of money to their cause over the next two years.

The Redditch based company who specialize in beauty products have revealed they will support the charity to the tune of a considerable £150,000.

Already the six figure sum offered will make a massive impact to the Charity’s operations.

It will fund 90 missions by the air ambulance and critical care car which could help to save countless lives.

Such is the size of Baylis and Harding's support that the charity has added the company’s logo to its G-OMMA helicopter which is stationed at its airbase at Strensham Services by the M5 in Worcestershire.

Emma Gray, who is chief operating officer at the Midland Air Ambulance Charity in Lye said: “We want as many people as possible to know how proud we are to have the support of such a generous local business.

“Their substantial donation will go a long way to help raise the £10million we need each year to remain operational."

Baylis and Harding has been based in Redditch for the past 10 years having been originally launched in a barn under Spaghetti Junction back in 1970.

The company produce luxury bath and body products which now enjoy international status.

Baylis and Harding has already stepped in to sponsor the charity’s Recognition Awards and Charity Ball held at Edgbaston Stadium.

The company's co-founder, Tania Slater, said: “Anyone of us could need the advanced care of the Midland Air Ambulance Charity’s specialist clinicians. Its work is truly inspirational and we’re honoured to be associated with their lifesaving service for the next two years."
