A TEENAGER and two men have been arrested after an illegal vehicle repair shop was discovered in Redditch.

On June 18, officers found a 'chop shop' in Arrow Road North where a large number of vehicle parts, believed to be stolen, were found.

A teenage boy aged 17 and two men from Coventry aged 18 and 26 have been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and the theft of a motorcycle.

They have been bailed and ordered to return to Kidderminster Police Station in July.

A chop shop is a business, often mimicking a car body repair shop, which illicitly strips stolen cars for parts.

Signs of a chop shop include shipping containers in unusual locations, suspicious and noisy activity around industrial units, often at odd times of day or night and vehicles that look out of place going into workshops or locations and not coming back out.
