A MAN has admitted engaging in sexual activity in a Worcester toilet in front of two children.

Daniel White admitted four charges when he appeared via videolink from HMP Hewell to Worcester Crown Court on Friday, (June 10).

The 39-year-old pleaded guilty to two breaches of a sexual offences prevention order and two charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.

White made contact with two separate children, under 16 years old, breaching an order, and White had sought sexual gratification by engaging in sexual activity in the toilet, in their presence.

The incidents took place on February 28, 2022, and March 1, 2022.

Jason Aris, defending, asked for the case to be adjourned as he was seeking a pre-sentence report that could explore whether White could be given a suspended jail sentence.

Judge James Burbidge QC said: “I will do that, but priority has to be for a judge to protect the public.

“His inability to control himself in public places is worrying.”

Mr Aris said White, who has learning difficulties, was finding it difficult and was being “pushed around” in prison.

The judge reviewed his previous conviction noting White, of High House, Inkberrow and previously of Droitwich, had been given an indefinite sexual offences prevention order after similar offending.

Addressing White, the judge told him that he had the “good sense” to confess to the crimes and so had not put the children through giving evidence.

Judge Burbridge said the fact he was adjourning for a pre-sentence report was no promise White would avoid been jailed.

White, who wore black glasses and a light grey top, was remanded in custody and told to appear at his sentencing on July 4.
