A HUGE bag of illegal vapes has been seized in Redditch.
A quantity of “non-compliant, oversized vapes” have been seized thanks to a joint operation between emergency services and councils.
Headless Cross and Oakenshaw Safer Neighbourhood Team along with Worcestershire Trading Standards, Worcestershire County Council and Hereford and Worcester Fire Service have cracked down on illicit vape products.
Redditch Police – Safer Neighbourhood Teams posted on Facebook: “HCO SNT have been out in Redditch today with Worcester Trading Standards, Worcester County Council and Hereford and Worcester Fire Service. A quantity of non-compliant oversized vapes were seized. #partnershipworking.”

Disposable nicotine vapour products must contain no more than 2ml of liquid under UK law, the equivalent nicotine to one packet of cigarettes.
Two millilitres of liquid equates to around 600 puffs in a vape product; some of the products seized contained around 3,500 puffs.
