A shoplifter from Evesham stole almost £200 worth of alcohol.
Russell Purfield, 41 and of Bewdley Street, stole five one-litre bottles of Jack Daniels and another 750ml bottle of the whiskey from a Tesco store in Evesham.
In total, Purfield stole £186 worth of alcohol on Friday, May 20, to which he pleaded guilty.

Due to the value being under a certain amount, Purfield was sentenced for the summary offence a day later at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court.
He was ordered to pay compensation of £26 and costs of £35 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
