POLICE and fire engines have closed a road near city centre this evening (Sunday).
Emergency services are currently on Sansome Walk which is closed from the junction with St Oswald's Road.
A fire engine is blocking the road near to the old Sansome Walk Swimming Pool.
UPDATE: This is why road near city centre was closed by emergency services
There are reports that a car has crashed and is badly damaged.
Cars are having to turn around and are being diverted either back towards Chestnut Walk or the city centre.

Worcestershire Highways has warned other drivers to avoid the area if possible.
