Slimming World has 1,028 members across 21 groups in Worcester and Malvern.

In total, 115 bags of clothes were brought down to St Peter’s Baptist Church, ready to be donated to the Cancer Research branch on The Cross.

Slimming World branches across the country have been taking part in this year’s Clothes Throw since May 9.

The campaign first launched in 2013 and since then over £15 million worth of pre-loved items that members have slimmed out of have been donated to Cancer Research shops across the UK.

The last Clothes Throw to be held, in 2019 before the pandemic, raised £3.2million for the charity and €320,000 for the Irish Cancer Society.
