TWO men have been arrested after an attempted burglary in Alvechurch.
Police were called to Radford Road in the early hours this morning (Monday May 16) following reports of a burglary in progress.
Patrol officers arrived at the address within minutes and two men, aged 24 and 21-years-old, have been arrested for attempted burglary.
Inspector Lee Page, of West Mercia Police’s Safer Neighbouhood Team for Redditch and Bromsgrove, said: “We know there have been ongoing concerns in around burglaries and car theft in Alvechurch, and around Redditch and Bromsgrove in general.
“We hope these arrests offer some reassurance to local residents and send a message to anyone considering undertaking such crime that we are targeting suspected burglars.”
