A PROPERTY in Church Hill, Redditch has been boarded up after becoming a hot spot for anti-social behaviour.

A closure order has been obtained by Redditch Borough Council on 11 Sandhurst Close.

The notice lasts until August 4 and means no individual, apart from the resident is allowed to enter the premises.

Individuals visiting the property can be arrested if they enter or remain on the premises.

Redditch Borough councillor for Church Hill, Ann Isherwood said the anti-social behaviour has been an ongoing issue.

She added: “There are a few vulnerable residents around Sandhurst Close, so it has always been a concern of mine.”

In a Facebook post, Redditch Safer Neighbourhood Police Team said: “We actively encourage the public to make us aware of any potential breaches of the order.

“With your help, we can make this an effective tool to tackle anti-social behaviour and crime in your neighbourhoods.
