- FIREFIGHTERS are battling a severe blaze that has broken out at an industrial estate in Redditch.
- Padgets Lane, off Battens Drive is currently closed, with ten fire appliances and specials fighting the inferno.
- Police have warned residents to remain indoors and keep doors and windows shut.
- The fire broke out in the early hours of this morning (Friday, May 6).
- Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service group commander Jon Laight tweeted: "Large fire on Padgetts Lane off Battens Drive in Redditch. 10 appliances plus specials are in attendance so please avoid the area if you can. @HWFire @WMerciaPolice are working together to extinguish this serious fire. @bbchw Local residents should close doors and windows".
