OFFICERS continue to appeal for information about a crash in Wythall that led to the death of an 89-year-old. 

It happened around 3am on Friday, April 29, at the junction of Alcester Road South and Hollywood Bypass.

A white lorry collided with an elderly pedestrian from Kings Heath, who later died.

It is believed the man had walked a reasonable distance from his home in Kings Heath prior to the incident.

A police spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have seen an elderly man in the area or captured him or the incident on dash cam or CCTV is asked to please get in touch.
