Worcestershire's own Harry Styles will be returning to the UK this May as he's announced as the headliner for Sunday night at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Coventry.

Following his successful and glamour headline show at the popular American musical festival Coachella, Radio One announced the news he would headline the special weekend festival.

Radio One Breakfast host Greg James, shared the exciting news early this morning as fans across the nation eagerly waited for the headlines to be announced.

Styles will be closing the Coventry-based festival and is set to perform music from his highly anticipated album 'Harry's House', which drops on May 20.

Sharing the news on his morning show, James said "Stay calm, it's happening. Harry is coming to Coventry!"

Big Weekend in Coventry takes place from Friday, May 27 to Sunday, May 29 in Coventry, War Memorial Park.

Although tickets went on sale earlier this month, the Breakfast host did share the news that a small amount would be available later today (April 25).

The afternoon drivetime show hosted by Vik Hope is expected to have all the information you need to get tickets.
