An air ambulance has landed following a crash on the M25.

Emergency services were rushed to the collision between Junctions 28 (Brentwood) and 27 (Epping) in the anti-clockwise direction this morning (Tuesday).

National Highways says they are working at the scene and an air ambulance has landed.

While one lane is running, three are closed as works are carried out.

As a result, there are currently delays of around an hour above normal journey times and approximately six miles of congestion on the approach.

Essex Police has been contacted for further details about the incident.
