LUCTONIANS Colts secured their place in the last eight of the National Colts Cup with a victory over Kingsbridge uber-18’s 23-17.

Cheered on by a seizable crowd the Colts (under-18s) put on an impressive first half to lead their opponents from Devon 18-5 at the break.

Kingsbridge hit back in the second half but the lads from north Herefordshire held on for a deserved win.

Matt Price and Ewan Lewis both scored try for the young Luctonians before Isaac Lloyd ran over an all important third try for his side.

Meanwhile Warwick Archer was named man of the match for Luctonians Colts helping them to a memorable victory.

Luctonians will now play away against Guildford RFC under-18’s in the quarter-final on February 13.
