THESE pictures show Images nightclub as it was - and the construction work which has seen it torn down.
The nightclub in The Butts was once a favourite nightspot for Worcester clubbers.
However, the building has now been torn down and work is ongoing to create student housing.
Thorneloe Developments is currently transforming the site into an 83-bed purpose-built site.
The building, which dated back to the 1870s, was labelled an eyesore and has been totally demolished so work can begin on building student accommodation on the site.
Construction work began in mid-November and little more than rubble remains of the nightclub.
These pictures from the Worcester News archives show it in its heyday as well as the work being carried out on the site at the moment.
