A MAN was lifted up a steep embankment on a stretcher after a car crash off the M42 this morning (January 14).
The incident happened between junction two (Hopwood Services) and junction three (Portway) around 8am this morning.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have said the car had left the roadway and the injured driver got out the vehicle himself.
Paramedics then "conveyed the casualty on a stretcher up a steep embankment."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8am to reports of a single vehicle RTC at junctions 2/3 of the M42.
"We sent one ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene.
"We’ve treated a man for injuries not believed to be serious and he was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.”
