A WORCESTERSHIRE pop star has revealed she has got engaged on an exotic holiday with her boyfriend.

Becky Hill, from Bewdley, shared the special news on social media revealing that she was now engaged to partner Charlie Gardner.

Charlie proposed to the pop star on a romantic break in The Maldives.

Becky revealed Charlie had organised a private uninhabited island tour and she also qualified for her open water diving course.

But it was the final night when he made the proposal with Becky sharing pictures of the couple together and the engagement ring.

 

She captioned the four pictures "turns out he does like me" along with a diamond ring emoji.

Fans and celebrities were quick to congratulate the couple after the Wish You Well singer posted pictures of the engagement.

Dragon's Den star Deborah Meaden said: "Huge Congratulations!! Looks gorgeous and romantic and just lovely xx"

BBC Radio One DJ wrote: "Awwww massive congrats you two."

Fans also shared their joy at the singer's happy news.

Emily wrote: "AHHHH CONGRATULATIONS!! YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTEEE!! What a place to pop the question too, charlie did well with that one!! so so dreamy!"

Bewdley-born Becky has notched up 12 Top 40 hits on the Official Singles Chart.

They include one number one single Gecko (Overdrive) with Oliver Heldensand her compilation of early hits Get To Know collection is certified Gold.

Her debut album Only Honest At The Weekend was released in August last year reaching number seven in the album charts.
