MANCHESTER City star Jack Grealish has organised for several families who are supported by Acorns Hospice to experience a day out at the Etihad when he plays his former club.

The former Aston Villa captain has sent a video message to families supported by Wythall based charity, Acorns Hospice, offering 30 tickets to an end of season game.

Ahead of the first clash of the season between Manchester City and Aston Villa on Wednesday, December 1, Grealish said it is going to be different ‘returning to Villa Park in a different kit.’

In the message, he said:

“Hi guys, it’s Jack Grealish here. I just thought I would send a quick video message.

“I’m looking forward to the game on Wednesday, I hope you are too.

“I know it’s going to be different, different feeling with me returning to Villa Park in a different kit.

“But like I said, you know, I’m looking forward to it.

“I just want to say at the end of the season, I’ve arranged some tickets for you guys (Acorns) to come up to the Etihad and enjoy a day out and enjoy the game.

“So hopefully see you then all the best.”

Toby Porter, Acorns chief executive, said: “This is a phenomenal gesture from Jack, and we are so moved that he has decided to offer these tickets to families at Acorns for the return fixture at the end of the season.

"It will be a memorable day out I’m sure for those that can attend.

“Jack has been to Acorns many times over the years, and we are always so struck by the warmth and kindness he shows to children and their families on those visits.
