THE Redditch branch of TSB is set to close next June.
It has been announced the popular bank on Unicorn Hill is scheduled to close on June 2, 2022.
This comes amid plans to close 70 TSB branches in 2022 as more customer switch to online banking.
The banking giant say nine in ten transactions are now done online.
The closures will result in 150 fewer jobs but staff who work at the affected branches will be found new work elsewhere within the bank.
There is a Post Office or a cash point within a mile of every branch that is set to close, TSB said.
TSB chief customer officer, Robin Bulloch, said: “Closing branches is an incredibly difficult decision to take, but we have to respond to the changes in the way people bank and provide the right mix of services for all our customers now and into the future.
