A REDDITCH man has been hit with community order for assault and racially aggravated threatening behaviour.
James Padfield, of Icknield Street, admitted using threatening abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause alarm or distress to another person on June 11.
The offence was both racially and religiously aggravated, Worcestershire Magistrates Court found.
At the same hearing on November 23, the 42-year-old also admitted to two counts of assaults by beating, both on June 11.
Padfield received a community order and must follow a curfew for ten months.
He was also ordered to pay compensation, surcharge and costs totalling £430.
His guilty plea was taken into account when the court imposed the sentence.
