AN ALCESTER man was arrested after being 'racially abusive towards police.'
The 39-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault and committing a racially aggravated public order offence.
Police had been called to a disturbance at a property in Alcester on Sunday (October 10).
A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: "A man was allegedly racially abusive towards officers on Sunday evening after he had been arrested in connection with a disturbance at a property in Alcester.
"The 39-year-old man from Alcester was arrested on suspicion of assault and committing a racially aggravated public order offence.
"He was later bailed while enquiries continue."
