A VICAR from Studley embarked on a cycling challenge to raise money for local historic churches.
Katie Dier, who is a vicar at Arden March Churches covering Studley, Mappleborough, Oldberrow and Morton Bagot, cycled to 18 churches in the area last weekend.
The 61-year-old took on the challenge to raise money for her churches and the Coventry and Warwickshire Historic Churches Association, which works to maintain historic church buildings.
Kate has completed the challenge for the past four years and was excited to get back on the saddle once more on September 11.
Kate, who has served in the church for 25 years, said: "It was lovely to see the churches, lots of them were open and were well attended and attractive places to visit.
"I thought I would ache the next day but I was fine. I want to thank all the people who have supported me, I've been surprised and delighted."
