A REDDITCH tourist attraction has lined up a host of fun activities to keep kids and families entertained over the summer school holidays.
Forge Mill Needle Museum, Needle Mill Lane, has teamed up with top comic book artist Lee Bradley for a ‘Journey into Marvel’ exhibition, celebrating the history of the iconic fantasy comic series.
And there are a string of other events and activity groups also running.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to chat with Lee on most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays as well seeing the history of Marvel’s famous characters.
There is also a ‘Nuff Said’ comic characters trail and a comic book cover colouring competition.
Alongside the exhibition, families will be able to build superheroes, shape dinosaurs play at pirates through a series of workshops.
There are also Lego workshops on August 11, 18 and 25 at 10am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm at a cost of £4.50 per child.
Then on Saturday August 28 Quantum Theatre brings its lively adaptation of classic novel Treasure Island to the museum.
Tickets are £9.50 for adults, £4.50 for children. The performance begins at 5pm, with gates opening at 4.30pm, and people are invited to bring their own picnics, chair and blankets.
