A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead in her Redditch home.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called out to a home on Prospect Road North just after 1pm yesterday (Wednesday, July 14).
Officers were called after a woman in her thirties was found dead in the property.
An ambulance spokesperson said: "Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
"On arrival we discovered one patient, a woman.
’Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed dead at the scene."
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "A man in his thirties from Redditch now been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody.
"We would like to reassure the community that this is believed to be an isolated incident and officers will be in the local area to provide support while our investigation continues."
